Lavinia Nannini has been teaching yoga and leading international workshops and retreats for over fifteen years. She is a certified YogaWorks instructor and has completed additional training with the Jivamukti School, as well as specializing in Restorative Yoga under the guidance of renowned teacher Jillian Pransky, director of Restorative Therapeutic Yoga teacher trainings at YogaWorks in NYC.
Her yoga journey began in Rome, Italy, and was further enriched through her travels to India and a variety of immersive workshops and retreats. These experiences have shaped her approach to teaching, fostering a deep passion for holistic, well-rounded, and spiritually nourishing classes. Whether guiding dynamic Vinyasa or restorative sessions, Lavinia aims to engage the body, mind, and soul.
As a passionate teacher, her goal is to deepen students’ practice through vibrant, mindful, and engaging classes that incorporate all aspects of Yoga—meditation, pranayama, asana sequencing, chanting, and philosophy. Her creative classes emphasize the breath and healing, and her teaching aspires to spread love, light, and inspire peaceful transformation in the world.

Restorative Yoga
LaviYOGA 'Vinyasa Flow' well rounded classes and include yoga philosophy, pranayama, chanting, a dynamic & creative flow sequence and end with a brief meditation. Poses unite with breath in a moving-meditation to reveal body awareness, inner strength, and physical opening. All classes have a theme and a creative asana sequence that prepare the body for peak poses.
Lastly, we unwind through a cooling sequences towards final relaxation. Stimulating, uplifting and eclectic music plays an integral role in this vigorous & purifying practice.
LaviYOGA's signature 'Slow Flow & Restore' classes combine a gentle Vinyasa flow with Restorative poses, breathing techniques and meditation. This slower-paced practice allows you to refine your asanas, alignment, and body awareness, with poses held longer to deepen your connection to each movement. Candles, calming scents, and soothing music enhance the experience, promoting relaxation, mindfulness and mental clarity. Ideal for all levels, this class offers a nurturing space for balance and growth.
LaviYOGA Restorative classes and workshops called: 'The Art of Restoring the Self'
offer - much needed in today's world- deep and conscious relaxation. Each session begins with yoga philosophy, pranayama, and occasional chanting, followed by gentle movements to build body awareness. The restorative sequence uses props and extended holds to release physical tension and calm the mind. Visualizations, hands-on adjustments, massage, essential oils, and soothing music enhance the experience, concluding with a brief restorative meditation.
